Miscellaneous

  • If we use colours, make sure they are compatible with 1. black and white, and 2. gray scale.

Cover Page

  • Project Title

  • Company Address

Headers

  • Odd pages have a BigFont header aligned left.
  • Even pages have a client-specific header aligned right.
  • 12pt font, light gray, with bottom border.

Footers

  • Odd pages have the page number aligned left.
  • Even pages have the page number aligned right.
  • 12pt font, light gray, with top boarder.

Headings

  • Heading 1, 18pt, Bold, Page Break Before, Small Caps
  • Heading 2, 16pt, Bold, Page Break Before
  • Heading 3 (avoid)

Formatting to do after completing draft.

  • 3. Add page numbers.
  • 4. Add page breaks – before every Heading 1 and Heading 2.
  • 5. Add table of contents.
  • 6. Bold definition headings include the period.
  • 7. Avoid header level 3. Stick to two levels of headers.

Content review to do after completing draft.

  • 1. Use Canadian spell check.
  • 2. Check spelling.
  • 3. Check grammar (avoid passive voice.)
  • 4. Check diction consistency.
  • 5. Always use proper casing for Studio Tour.
